To whom it may concern
I have known Josh Counsel for the past five years. In that time I have had the opportunity to work with him as his supervisor on several large projects.
I found Josh to be a self motivated hard working individual. He is a talented Lab Technician who was able to handle all aspects of the projects including, sculpting, molding, casting, finish work and painting.
In addition, Josh is an accomplished make-up artist. Josh was a great asset on projects that required quick application while maintaining a high level of quality. He can handle basic makeup application, airbrush, body painting and prosthetic application.
Please feel free to contact me if need additional information.
Best regards,

To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter on behalf of my colleague Josh Counsel. I have worked with Josh for four years and he is an amazing technician and has an excellent rapport with high school-aged students.
Josh first came to my attention when I was sent his resume. I saw that he was working with Orlando Opera, which is an entity that I admire, and that he would be willing to work with students in the field of makeup. As I had been looking for a professional makeup artist to present workshops for my IB students, I was delighted.
The extensiveness of Josh's expertise and the capability to provide his own materials were a tremendous draw. I soon learned how important he felt collaborating with the students could be and he drew them in immediately. Since that initial workshop, I have had him present to my students twice a year. He does five workshops a day and, although he has now looped through several of my classes on multiple occasions there are always new products, fresh information, and a connection to the kids. They love what they have come to term "Josh Day"?. They have been aged, turned into monsters, bruised and cut and have prized every moment.
Perhaps the thing that grabs the kids the most is Josh's portfolio. The variety of techniques he has experimented with and perfected is astounding. It is fun to leaf through his accomplishments and documentation. There is always one or two who would like to pursue the techniques further, which is incredible in a society where student buy in is difficult to say the least. Always the consummate professional, Josh is hardworking, friendly and fun. I wish he could present to all high school theatre students.
Sincerely,
Danielle Dilks
