Safety and Prosthetic Make-Up

Prosthetic make-up requires the use of very srtong adhesives to prevent the appliance from detaching from the skin. This adhesive can do alot of damage to the skin if the prosthetic is not removed correctly and carefully. All prosthetics adhesives require special removers to loosen up the glue enough to detach the appliance, regardless of what the piece is made from.
These removers can be purchased from any good FX supply company and many theatrical make-up stores. The remover we use most is Super Solve. If you need to purchase any glue or removers you can visit our links section for links to reputable suppliers.

Do NOT attempt to just pull the prosthetic off without using any removers. You can pull layers of skin off and cause serious injury and tremendous pain to the wearer.
